Our
curriculum
encompasses four main levels,
from A1 to B2 corresponding to
an overall language skills
profile based on
The Common European
Framework of Reference for
Languages (CEFR).
|
|
CEFR is a Council of Europe
instrument used in setting up a
system of validation of language
competencies. It is the result
of a long development phase
conducted by foreign language
teaching specialists, including
Canadians, between 1991 and
2001. Each learning situation is
contextualized taking into
consideration the Canadian
context.
|
Alter Ego is a
relatively new method
for adults which has
been designed according
to the
CEFR. Using a
communicative approach,
learning is based on
authentic tasks and
interactions in
diversified situations
as well as varied themes
of everyday life.
Students receive their
own text, exercise book
and CD. |
